The Craftsman Carbide 7 1/4 in. 40T Smooth and Cross cut Saw Blade was purchased to do some cross cutting on a little project out in my shop. This blade made nice cross cuts on my dementional lumber that I was cutting and with my cutting guide for my Craftsman 7 1/4" circular, I cut some plywood pieces for some boat seats that I was building. The blade did not bind up or bog down on me at all. This cross cut saw blade also has a anti friction coating to reduce the chance of bogging down and helps prevent wood resin form building up on the saw blade. I cut quite abit of lumber over the weekend with use dthis blade quite a lot. The carbide tipped teeth will help it stay sharp longer and no dull down so quick. This cross cut saw blade has the standard 5/8" arbor and a .092 inch kerf. So if you have a circular saw and in the market for a new cross cut blade or have a project that requires some cross cutting and your current blade is worn down or maybe you don't have a cross cut blade, I would have no problems recommending this blade. This blade performs well and you can't beat the price.
