I was very pleased with this item. It probably took 45 minutes to install and so far has worked great. The price was very affordable. It is designed to lower so the hood can be opened completely.

Great buy, solid and easy to install. Not sure why others complained about the difficulting in installation. Not sure if I would have considered at original price, but under $30 makes it even more of a great buy.

Working well and well built. Not for the ones that require easy bolt on assembly. Release pins are the only disappointment being a little cheezy but installing homemade release pins instead fixes the issue.

Despite the directions not being exactly correct for the model I had, the chrome bumper guard went in just fine, adjusts easily and looks great. I'd already hit some bushes, so having a guard is going to be very beneficial to me. The cost was less than $30, compared to the list price of $149.00 and the current $89 price of a matte black bumper guard! A great deal and it looks very, very nice on my lawn tractor.

Maybe it is unfair to rate it low just because it didn't fit, but what good is it if you can't use it. The discription clearly states ALL CRAFTSMAN? FRONT ENGINE TRACTORS & RIDERS. I have a new front engine LT2000, but it does not fit. It looks nice sitting on the workbench, but I had to return it, which was also a nightmare since I ordered it on-line. Go with the 24612 double tube bumper. It fits and seems to be much sturdier.
