Nice Nailer
I've been framing using 2x6 Doug Fir for several days and enjoy the nailer. Relative soft impact at 100psi, reliable, precise and light weight. Doubt if I'll ever need my old nailer that is famous for partially set nails.

28? Clipped Head Nailer
I just received the Craftsman Clipped Head Nailer #18179. Too bad I can't use it. The nailer uses 28? clipped head nails and I already have a quantity of 31? nails that I wanted to use up. No where in the ad did it mention the nail degree to use. It would have been nice if Sears would post the nail degree in the heading (i.e. "28? Craftsman Clipped Head Nailer"). Searching the Internet didn't reveal the correct nails to use and I took a chance and lost. Now I have to deal with returning the nailer. Other than that, the nailer looks nice and isn't too heavy. Probably would have been a good one to use.

Great Buy

I bought mine about 2 years ago and have used it a lot.  The first time I used one, I borrowed it from a friend and built my deck with it.  I normally use screws because they hold better but I wasn't going to put the whole thing down with screws.  This things a beast.  Don't pay attention to the guy that can't find the right kind of nails.  You can buy them at any hardware store.  Who goes to sears for nails anyway?

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Excellent Nailer

You could pay more, but why? This framing nailer is just as good as the others with the fancy names. It's a great investment for my personal use.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
