I love the machine! Has a good laser. Saves space by moving forward instead of backwards. Glides easily with little or no effort. Can fit into small spaces. Portable and easy to move. Goes well with other tools. Cuts very fast and allows angles. Laser provides precision cuts. Easy turn on and off switch. Packed well inside box. Very good product. Female friendly.
I have own two other miter saws and this is the best one that I have own. The laser line is very accurate right out of the box. I would recommend this saw for professional or hobbyist.
Excellent saw. Love the lazer light. Easy to use and compact. Cuts very nice and slides smoothly. Perfect for all types of projects. Would buy another in a heart beat.
Purchased this saw to use on my baseboard and door trim replacement project. The saw works great!! The different angle settings and cutting motion are awesome. I haven't used the laser and the dust bag is kinda worthless but the cutting capacity and angles are so worth it. The Craftsman quality shows with this item. I'm going back for the circular saw and drill combo. Can't go wrong with this product. I'll be trying out the laser function soon and update the review.

I build furniture and custom picture frames in my spare time and have been using a table saw and circular saw only so I was elated to purchase this saw on Black Friday (with a free really nice stand). Thus far I have zero complaints! It does exactly what I expect it to do, smoothly with nice cuts and proper angles.

I am a contractor. I have been working with tools for 30 years. I have had several different brands of power tools both battery and 110v powered over the years. I have never written a review before, but am compelled to do so after purchasing this product. Lugging heavy/bulky tools around gets really old but is a necessary evil. This space saving design works great and gives me more room in the truck for other stuff. The best part is how easy it is to carry from the truck to the jobsite - through doorways, down hallways, etc. A standard sliding compound saw is bulky and awkward. This is a great saw for dragging around to onsite work. Not much reason to have this specifically in a shop unless space is really cramped. It's a 10" blade, not a 12", so take that into consideration if you typically cut thicker stock. I have only used it a few times, but it seems well built and perfect for my applications. I'm looking forward to many years of service with this money maker. Please beware of other posts that state this saw is a "bad design" as this criticism is not accurate and misrepresents the product in my opinion. I actually own this saw and the thickest piece of wood it will crosscut is 3.25". A regular miter saw can only typically crosscut around 3.5" making this only a 1/4" compromise for the space savings. I even got out my tape measure to verify these measurements on two different types of 10" saws. Keep in mind that if you're just doing a simple crosscut on a board, you can only go as deep as the motor housing around the blade allows. You are always restricted by the blade shaft, motor, safety guard and all components around it. It is not possible to make a 5" deep crosscut on a 12" wide board with a 10" blade or any 12" blade for that matter with a sliding compound mitre saw. Great price, great design - I love it!
