love this mower
Great mower, great price,I bought this mower to replace my Craftman riding mower which I had for the last 19 years without any problem, until it suddenly stopped working, so I decided to stick with craftman,I like everything about it except the safety features can be a pain in the *** I am 5'3 so my legs don't reach the pedal as well as I would like so when I lean forward to reach better my **** raise off the seat and it shuts the mower off but if you are a tall person that's good because it gives you lot of leg room.

Deck Vibration
The deck has way to much vibration for a new mower, I checked the blades, pulleys, and belt. Im going to pull the blades off and engage the PTO and see if the deck still vibrates like crazy. Definitely needs a ON/OFF Switch for the lights, and an Hour Meter. This is my first new Craftsman mower, I don't know how much better the more expensive models are. But if you can afford it, go with a better model (If the vibration isn't as bad.) (Customer service just said bring it back) I don't believe this will solve the issue. As i believe all of these models will do this. I understand it is one of the cheaper models, but i don't believe Craftsman should skimp on one of the most important parts of a mower.

Perfect! Mows just like a turn tight!

First of all, I use the mulching kit. This tractor cuts perfectly even with the 2 front wheels on the deck. The lights though on the tractor are always on, but I never ride the tractor at night so I don't have to worry about them ever burning out. I am now cutting a couple of neighbors grass and they want me to do it again because the tractor cuts so good. The tractor also uses a small amount of gas. For about a complete acre of cutting grass, the tank is only half empty. I recommend this tractor to everybody. Don't waste money for a **********, this Craftsman is much better!!

Vibration

Nice little tractor except for deck vibration. There are other reviews pointing out this deck vibration but I thought they were overstating a small problem. They were not! The deck shakes the whole tractor including the steering wheel. It is a very annoying problem but I hope by balancing the blades the problem will lessen, however, judging by an earlier review I don't holdout too much hope. I am going to keep the tractor because it has other good qualities and the price was good.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Like it so far.....

It isn't a ********** but for the price it seems like a great deal. Used it to mow and haul. It worked fine. The gas pedal is a little tight but I am sure it will get looser with time.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
Powerful lawn mower, awesome price!

After a great deal of shopping I found this tractor to replace our broken one. I was most pleased with the price for the size and engine that it has. We are very happy with the Briggs & Stratton engine and the speed at which it mows our yard. Can't wait to purchase some of the useful attachments also!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

vibration

just got this mower home. thinking about returning it. deck vibration is way to much. needs a on/off switch for the lights and it needs a better system for mowing in reverse. I thought being a craftsman mower would be better than this
