This is an excellent saw. It is very sturdy and well made. The size it good. Not too bulky. It is another great Craftsman product. You can't go wrong with Craftsman.

It was a little difficult to assemble the guard even after I looked at the directions, but overall it seems like a solid product that will suit my needs fine.
Comparable to other tools in the 299-349 range. the fence is decent, better than i expected for this price... it squares up pretty well without much fuss... checked with a digital angle finder.... was usually within .5 degrees of 90 without using a square.

Cheap. Nothing was lined up right to make acurate cuts. Made of plastic. Putting it together took about 20 minutes than began the hour and a half of measuring and aligning the blade angle, rip fence, and all. After all this It still doesn't cut right. Can't lower the blade down because when I lower it the blade moves over into the side of the top plate. The extension pieces are held on with little plastic pieces and are thin metal bars. If I can't get it fixed up I will have to return it.
