Well built. Easy to assemble. Easily moves all of my shop equipment as needed in a small footprint shop. Wish that these still had the four leveling feet that the older models had. Equipment stays put while in use.
I purchased this to use with a cast iron 14" band saw. It holds up to the task well, although I'm not sure if anything is as stable as the floor. The wheel locks hold the unit well.

I order two of these mobile bases at a great on-sale price. The first one was assembled for use with my Craftsman metal workbench. This workbench has a width of 18" so I figured the rectangular set-up would be perfect (box says it can accommodate a rectangular set-up up to 18" wide). However, I found that not to be true. The mobile base corners and side supports all have rolled (inwards) edges (I guess for added strength). When I built the base set to the widest width it came up at 17 1/4". So I dissembled and took a trip to ********** and bought some lengths of punched steel strip (don't think angle iron would work with the base corners). Of course, the drilled holes in the mobile base and the those in the punched strip didn't match up. It ended up taking me 3 hours to set-up this base for use with my 18" wide Craftsman workbench. This product would've been 5-Stars if it was actually as large as the dimensions printed on the box/instructions/online. The second unit will be used for a custom made tool base and am hoping I don't need to retro-fit that one too. Having tools/benches on mobile bases/wheels does make life a lot easier.
this is a nice base but,... not as stable as the old style with the cam locks. the cam locks lowered the base down on rubber padded feet or lifted it up for mobility. this base will still move without a lot of pressure. It does let you move your stuff around the shop though, which is the idea.
I bought a pair of these mobile bases for my small guitar repair shop. I was really impressed with the price of the base, as well as how sturdy it is and how many different ways you can reconfigure it. My only complaint was that one of the casters had a broken lock on it, but it appeared the box had been damaged, not that the unit had left the factory that way. Currently awaiting a replacement. Would still recommend, highly.
I have an older Craftsman table saw that unfortunately came with some pretty flimsy legs and weak casters. I bought this base hoping that it might solve the saw's mobility problem. I'm happy to say that it did, and rather nicely. Not only can I wheel my old reliable saw around easily now, it's firmed up the feel and those flimsy legs. Was a little tricky to fit to my saw, but a little patience and the right tools and it went together pretty quickly.
