9 in. nominal length, 7/8 in. length of cut. Cutting capacity: 16 gauge cold-rolled sheet steel / 18 gauge stainless sheet steel. Hot drop-forged blades.

Compound leverage handle action. Double overwind spring. Grade 8 center pivot bolt threaded into bottom blade keeps blades in adjustment longer. Molded plastic grips. Bulldog/notching blade pattern cuts thick sheet steel and multiple thicknesses of sheet steel (seams) up to 0.062 in.

Overall

The Short Bite of these Snips Makes them Unique

The short throat on these snips makes it very easy to make notch cuts in sheet metal. They don't jhave the tendancy of curling up the work-piece like the standard aviation snips do. I work a lot with 24 gauge galvanized steel and I've found that these snip handle it with ease.

Oh and by the way, did I mention they come with the famous Craftsman Warranty?

I would recommend this product to a friend.
