Had a cheap loan a tool pressure gauge and then go this one, this one gave an accurate reading on psi. This is a well calibrated gauge on the compression tester at a great price. I would buy this to check your compression and not waste your time with cheap junk like I did.

Nice Set, but the extender hoses do not have any way to tighten or loosen the adapters in the cylinder. Otherwise a good set...

I have this set to check the compression on my vehicles. I don't have to worry because this set has all the pieces I need to check the compression on almost every application out there. I like the gauge because it is shock resistant. So if I drop the tool, I know that the gauge will not break, unless I throw it against a wall. It will still be calibrated. I also like that I am able to use the hoses to inject air into the cylinder in case I need to exchange a valve spring. The case is high impact plastic so it will not damage any of the components in the case.

The gauge is sturdy and has a rubber cover around it. Lots of adaptors and hoses to work with about anything. I've had a few different gauges over the years and this is the best one so far. Hopefully, it's the last one I buy!
