nice universal connection that would connect to just about anything... however, it is complex to operate and you must read the operators manual to do it right. additionally; the unit i bought worked fine for one time only, then failed to hold pressure afterwards. i returned it and am still using my 30 myear old stant tester and would gladly spend the money for adapters to make it fit newer model cars. one time use, is just not good enough!

I am a home DIY mechanic, and I have used this tool to diagnose and verify repair work on 3 separate cooling system leaks that have plagued our cars. This tool works, and it gets the job done. Yes, it is light and a little flimsy as the other reviewers suggested, but I did not want to spend the big bucks to get a top of the line tester for what I need it for. The tool uses an inflatable bladder to seal the radiator neck, and then when it is sealed with the bladder you move the selector valve to pressurize the system. The bladders are rubber just like a bicycle inner tube, and you get 1 spare in the box. My original one popped recently so I am down to my spare now. In response to the reviewers that claim there are no replacement parts, you are incorrect. I ordered 2 more bladders from the manufacturer at www.pbtusaparts.com, and received them a few days later, so now I have 2 spares. The part number for the bladder is 80003. I would buy this tool again.

most testers can't fit half of what this can fit and for a fraction of the cost. This is the best cooling system pressure tester on the market. It fits things other testers need expensive adapters for

The kit does cover a lot of stuff...used it approx. 10 times already (haven't had it that long), and never ran into issues. Great for checking internal system integrity. I will agree with the other users in that it isn't built like you'd want (all beefy and tough). The setup is a little on the lighter side, and I wouldn't advise throwing it around. For the price, not bad at all. Does what it needs to, and you get a pretty decent master kit. Worth what you'll pay. And if it breaks somehow, take it back to sears. Even if they say that it isn't replaceable, just keep griping til they bend (I work at a sears, and I see it everyday). It works.

do not inflate the bladder to 25 psi to condition and strech the material as the quick fit guide suggests it blew my bladder up and now Ican't find a spare hope it dosn't happen again. But after all that its easy to use and no other problems

Used once & plan to return. The pump assembly is a rather flimsy plasic design that looks like something that will break or leak after a couple of uses. Not something you can count on working the next time you need it. Not intuitive to use. The adapter for testing pressure caps simply does not work for my bayonet style Ford Truck radiator cap. Appears to be exactly the same kit as the other 3 systems available from Sears that are branded as OTC and KB.
