This is great for all uses. Its portable so you can take it anywhere. The light is super bright "dont look at the light". The charge last a pretty long time. Well lets just say It has not went dim on me yet. The hook on it is good for attaching to anything when you need both hands. After all said it does not cost an arm and a leg like you would find elsewhere. Buy one and one for your freind.
Craftsman Cordless Rechargeable Work Light with 35 LED lights was a poor experience for me. Maybe, I just got a bad one out of the box, but had a few issues with this work light. It worked great at first and then about a month after purchase, I started noticing that the use times between charges was getting shorter & shorter. Before the degrading battery life, I had plenty of light for working under yard tractors & lawn tractors. I was not thrilled with the hanging hook. It was too small to really hang & keep light pointing where you wanted it to point (a bit too flimsy for me). I did like the ability to be able to recharge the light from my pick up truck or to be able to charge directly from a wall socket on my work bench in my shop. The plus's for this light were; good light, portability, ability to charge using a/c or d/c power sources. The negatives for this light were; battery did not last very long after about a month of use, the top hanging hook was too flimsy, mounting magnet would not hold the light all of the time or would be knocked loose pretty easy, I really was not too thrilled with the switch for the different light engagements (click for flas light, click for work light, & click again for all the lights, too much cycling of the switch to get the light you needed). This light had a 1-yr warranty, but due to unexpected illness, I was unable to exchange. I did go to the store to see if could be exchanged, but was too late. I did have one other friend that got the same light as a gift for Christmas, when I got my light & he had the same battery issue. His only lasted about 2 weeks before he started loosing the battery. If it had a more reliable battery, I might give it another chance, but with other reviews I have seen, me & my buddy were not the only ones, that had bad battery experiences with this light.

Weak magnet failed causing light to fall about 3 feet, hit floor, and break in half. This thing is a cheaply made, poorly designed piece of junk. Spend your $ on a CREE LED flashlight instead.

My uncles have 1-4 of these, my grandpa has 1, a few of my friends have 1-2.I love that it can be a work light or a flashlight or both,and i can charge it anywhere.this light has came in handy many many many times and the leds are bright compared to the cheap led lights you can buy anywhere.i would recommend this light to anyone.

I use this work light for more than work. I actually picked up a second for my car now. Great for a mechanic or even just when the power goes out. I used it a couple weeks ago for that. It made it all day on the full charge and gave off way more light than candles ever would have.

The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is due to the fact that the magnet "clip" and the hook on the top have broken off after only about a month of use. It is very bright, the charge lasts for several hours, and the magnet is quite useful.

Pros: The light charges quickly, it's bright, and the rotatable magnetic clip is extremely nice for position the light. Cons: It charges quickly but battery also dies quickly. Mildly annoying to the press the on/off button three times to cycle thru modes and turn the light off. All in all it's a great little light to have in the garage for routine vehicle maintenance etc...

Very bright LEDs, and they hold a charge for a good while. However, most annoying is the switch to operate. The small switch is difficult to operate in cold conditions with gloves on, and instead of an on/off configuration, it is 3-way. In other words, you push it once to turn the trouble light on, then you have to push it 3 more times to turn off. It goes from light, to flashlight (end of wand), to flashlight & light, to off. Poor design.

I love this light. It can be used for sooo many things. It can be charged in your car or at the house in the light socket. the charge stayed on for at least a month. I didn't use it the whole month, but I needed it to be charged when I did need it. It is very bright and can be used 3 ways. I would recommend this to everyone I know and have recommended it to all my neighbors and family.

Love this light! If I could afford to I'd buy one of these for everyone I know! Versatile for use in the house and for the car! Magnet is very strong and the light is crazy bright! Holds the charge well so far and nice that you don't have to use up a ton of batteries since it's rechargeable so it's better for the wallet and the environment!
