toolworked

Decently made (simple product) wish they made different shaped versions. Had two stuck cotter pins, the first one this product worked fantastic! But on the second pin I had to improvise and use a different tool because it wasn't shaped quite right. Over all its nice to have but not a must have tool

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Better than a screwdriver

I had been using screwdrivers for pulling cotter pins and I didn't know what I was missing. This simple tool, that I bought on sale on a whim, has been great.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman Cotter Key Extractor

So many tools could do the same job, I know, but I like my tools and this one also works well for opening pistachios!

Seriously though, it will yank a cotter pin out of an axle quick as can be!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
right tool for the job

What the picture doesn't show you is an offset in the bend. Great for reaching around. More importantly allowing you to apply a twisting with your wrist to wedge against the bolt or nut to work the cotter pin's 'eye' hole out.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
