Unbelievable. That's the one word I can use to sum up my experience with this mower. Bought it yesterday,was super pumped to get it out this morning. Checked it out, all looks good, poured gas in the tank, got about a 1/2 gallon in and gasoline started pouring out of the area where he carburetor attached to the motor. Literally POURING out all over the mower the driveway - what a mess! Upon inspection both the gasket where the fuel line goes into the carb and especially where the carb attaches to the motor, are severely misaligned. There was even a green grease pencil mark by this where someone in the factory (probably in the motor factory in China) had marked that the gaskets where screwed up.....oh well....quality defect?? No problem! Ship it out anyway!! Shame on MTD (who makes this mower) and on Sears for having ZERO quality standards in place!! Do not buy this mower or if you do, understand you have little chance of using it past its warranty!!

Just got it delivered this morning, not available in stores, but online. Used it on a commercial account and worked better than expected. Steady use for 3 hours, and NO THE BELT DID NOT FALL OFF ONCE! The machine was delivered completely assembled, all I had to do was connect the battery, gas it up, and turn the key. Quiet operation, cuts evenly, and for our use, it fits in perfectly. For the money, a good machine.
