Pantograph
Have been using this item for about 15 years, primarily making signs, but also making some art work. Problems: Make sure router is well centered, as directed, and tighten the wing nuts with pliers to make sure it doesn't move. The point of the screw that follows the template or outline is too coarse for some intricate projects - have made a second screw with a much finer point. The highest or tallest panel it will take is just over 10 in. - wish it would go to 16 in. It is important to set it up exactly as the directions indicate, ensuring that each locknut is securely fastened. Large signs (tall) can be made by glueing several narrower pieces together and this works well, but is not a way to make artwork. Would buy again and have recommended to others. It is a good value and fun to play with.

A problem
The plastic pivot socket is very poor. I made a replacement out of wood.

easy to use

Nice little piece to have in your shop, easy to set up and use. It does take some getting used to, just wished it came with different letter templates

I received this tool as a Christmas present from a friend.

I received this tool as a Christmas present from a friend. Once I was able to put it together and finally use it, I was impressed. The directions leave much to be desired. After three pieces of wasted wood and a little hair pulling, I figured it out and was impressed. I made a name plate for my grand-daughters toy box. At her party I was asked to make several more for other folks.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great tool

No problems with this tool. I printed the signs of the computer (double the finished size) and started making signs right away. Because you control it at the stylus as apose to the router, you have far better control. Just be sure to read the whole manual, all 10 pages.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Trouble

After reading all the literature that came with the tool and carefully setting it up, it was pretty obvious that there just wasn't any way you could make anything that you would be proud to put your name on. I boxed it up and took it back.

Incompleate tool

This tool came missing ALL the small parts. Sears offered to SELL me the missing parts. To replace the parts missing cost more than the whole machine. To make things worse, they didn't even offer some of the required parts for sale. So I bought $60 worth of trash.
