Craftsman  DHRP Mini Utility Shovel

This is a mini shovel. I didn't find it useful. Item is cheap and good for the price, but if it doesn't get the job its waste of money to me... you can give to your kid so they can have some fun in snow ;)

Some reviewers think that because this shovel is small that it is a kids toy and that an adult shouldn't be caught dead holding one.  Well if you need a shovel to put the point in the ground and lean on the handle while you supervise all the farm hands, this is clearly not the tool for you.  It also can't be used for aligning railroad tracks as they are laid.

This shovel is very handy though if, like me, you do a lot of off payvment driving.  I keep this little gem in the back of my truck whereever I go.  It is very handy for filling in that hole that your off-roader drove into. 

This shovel is also handy dor almost any digging you might have to do on your knees.  Did someone mention gardening??? 

The only drawback to this little gem is that the handle is plastic.  I have not broken it yet so that may not be a problem.

Craftsman warranty.  Haven't needed to test that yet either.

Well-made shovel with short handle for those difficult and awkward jobs....this will do the trick. Love the quality and warranty of any Craftsman tool and this was a bargain for the price.

I like the shortewr shovel because the handle is easy to reach. I also like to be able to carry it in my truck without taking up too much room. Great for working on planting.

Like all Craftsman product this is good one too. It's small and light. It's easy to handle. It's tough and durable. It's just the right size for me to use in the garden and to dig small to medium size holes in my yard. I recommend this item because you can always trust Craftsman products!

I use the Craftsman DHRP mini utility shovel, basically, every time I work in my flower beds. It is fantastic when planting flower bulbs in the fall. The point of the shovel makes a precise cut, and the job gets done so much faster.

The Craftsman DHRP Mini Utility Shovel has proven to an ideal addition to this elderly gardener. The shovel is compact and easy to use for the many projects around our house. I use it in both the flower garden and the small garden that I maintain each year. I recommend it to all home owners..

I have a small house and bought this to maintain the little flower bed out in the front. Work perfectly. I do not leave this out expose to the sun so it will probably hold up much longer for me. If you have a bad back or cannot bend down, then this is not for you. It is very short.
