I purchased the top and bottom 26" tool storage as a combination set. I also purchased the 42" combination set. They were on sale at about 50% off. This was a great buy for me. After on-line research I determined the Viper tool boxes would be the best for me. Generally, their price was slightly lower than the Craftsman premium boxes and held 75 pounds per drawer. Other tool boxes were very costly, in my view, and I don't trust the HF brand to be sufficiently strong, although they are less expensive. However, when the Edge went on sale at such a good price, and since it was very close in size and strength to the Viper series, I opted to buy it. What a great decision! These tool boxes are terrific. Loaded with tools, the drawers open and close very easily. I had to put the top chests on top of the bottom chests by myself. I do not recommend you do this. Locate a partner to help. It will be much easier and faster. Since I am 70 years old, it was likely more difficult for me than it might be for those of you younger, but a helper is the best way to go. The boxes arrived undamaged. The 42" set was strapped to two separate pallets, while the 26" was inside two separate cardboard boxes. The instructions were located inside one of the drawers, although I failed to locate them and therefore, downloaded the instructions from the internet. Removing the 26" boxes from their cardboard boxes took some planning. I could have just cut out one of the sides of the cardboard box and slid the tool box out. But would have needed to be careful not to scratch it. Ultimately I removed the bottom 26" tool box first. I placed it on top of the lower 42" box (which was still inside its cardboard box). The 26" box was on its side, I was able to remove the wheels from the bottom drawer, as well as the metal wheel flanges, and then attach them to the bottom of the 26" tool box. With a partner, all of this would have been much easier. The 42" tool boxes had a pallet on the bottom but no cardboard, therefore once I cut off the straps holding the tool box onto the pallet, the cardboard was easily pulled up and off the tool box. Attaching the wheels required me to turn the bottom tool box onto its top. I used additional pallets (I had some from prior solar panel purchase) to protect the tool box as I turned it over. With a partner, all of this would have been much easier. In the end, this was an excellent purchase. The boxes are top notch. The drawer glides are smooth, loaded or unloaded. I believe the edge series comes in multiple colors, I happen to get midnight blue. Looks good with my grey and blue colored metal shop. Be sure you know what tools you intend to put into the drawers. Most of the drawers are short, only 2" high. They work for me to hold my screwdrivers, short sockets, and pliers. But taller drawers make it easier to include the odd item that is a bit bigger.
