digital torque wrench
I could not be more satisfied with a torque wrench! This digital torque wrench is the easiest and most accurate one that I have ever used. It is a huge time saver in the shop, I would recomend every shop to have one. For half the cost of the other leading brands, the Craftsmen digital torque wrench is the best bang for your buck. I love all of my Craftsmen tools and have never been dissatisfied with any of them. I love my Craftsmen tools very much that the only thing I love more is my family. Please keep up with making the quality tools that I enjoy working with second to none. Thank you, Tim D.

Total junk
Bought both the 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch drive digital wrenches. Both broke within one day. I am a professional outboard engine mechanic so I needed things that last.Sears refuses to warranty them so I have 400 dollars worth of trash. The digital face costs more than the wrench so never again...I would think when these are the most expensive they have then they would back them.

Works Great!

just bought this wrench to have for a back up While my good Snap On wrench was getting re-calibrated. I found it a little difficult to get used to the beep vs a "click" but it did the job and just took some getting used to. I have been a professorial car restorer for 15 year and I find that it is not the best, but for the Average person doing lug checks it is a good tool. There is still no substitute for a great Snap On tool, but that is just my brand loyalty speaking.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

quality?

The plastic was damaged not just on 1 but 2 wrenchs. I bought 2 wrenchs elsewhere for the price of this one and saved over $80.

awesome wrench, great price

I don't know why other customers are having an issue with this wrench. It works great, comes calibrated, is easy to use. I personally think it is possible for a few bad pieces out there but its the nature of the beast. My only gripe is I typically like click type torque wrenches, so this one will take some getting used too as it has an audible beep and visual leds and an torque spec on the lcd screen, which is cool. Great product.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman Digi-tourque wrenches

Love this torque wrench. Works great. I wish sears would have reminded me about the batteries. Ordered online for store pick up worked really well.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Yes, you SHOULD buy it

Its obvious that the majority or people that write reviews are ones that have bad experiences. I have owned my craftsman 1/2 Torque wrench for almost three years. I have used it 100+ times utilizing the entire spectrum from 20 ft. lbs. to 200 ft. lbs. It is a shame that it is only human nature to go out of our ways to ***** about things but not do the same to show thanks and gratitude. I am sure sears has sold more than.......10 of these.

A turd of a torque wrench.

This tool will cause more damage because it is not accurate. Go buy a cheap one from harbor freight and have the same quality at a fraction of the price. The warranty is only 60 days on the tool.

This needs a better warranty!!

I am a full time mechanic that deals with torquing wheels, nuts, bolts, and anything I can get my hand on.  I use this torque wrench five days of the week and all eight hours a day worth of work time.  All I do is torque and this baby does its job.  I love the no twist deal and all I have to do is push the power button and set the torque rating.  The beep is on the dot and the calibration is always on fire.  I would recommend this to a friend, only if they offered a better warranty.  After the 90 days warranty Sear's had no idea nor offered me the right direction to checking on my torque wrench due to error.  I also called the 1 800 number and they could not help me and told me that the store can only help but I was led wrong in both directions.  If you want to get your hands on a hassle free torque wrench, then this is the one you want, but if you are worried about warranty, then you should stay away from this.  I would give this 5 stars but the warranty is the issue.
