Purchased to help with a plumbing job because of its size but was not able to use because it was too small. 2nd time I was able to use it - it broke within 5 minutes of job. Center screw failed similar to the problem the first reviewer experienced. I have contacted Sears to see about the warranty because it seems like it should be covered by the usually Craftsman lifetime warranty since it has the Craftsman name on it and the warranty information is on the items webpage....but I guess when it come down to it unless they give me my money back I am still going to be stuck with a tool that is not much good for anything.

I purchased this with the hopes of having a tool I could count on to do everyday work since it had the Craftsman name on it. However, after a short period of time, I actually needed it to do some true gripping and it failed. The center screw bent and the pliers were no longer any good. And when I went back to get a new pair, they then informed me that this particular Craftsman product doens't come with the Craftsman lifetime warranty. Nice. I love Craftsman, but won't buy their Eco tools any more. Won't make that mistake twice.
