Craftsman Evolv 17217 5.2 amp Corded 3/8&#34 Drill

I bought this drill for my boyfriend a year ago and he loves it.  The store was suprised to see someone wanting a corded drill because most of the people want cordless.  He hasn't had any problems using it and he loves trying out new projects with this drill.  He loved craftsman but didn't know anything about the evolv product of craftsman but the price was right and now I can't get him to put it down

Evolv 5.2 amp drill - good except for erganomics

I bought this drill as an inexpensive option for light duty work around the home/apartment. It has performed flawlessly so far, though I've only used it a couple of times. My only complaint is the ergonomics. The grip is not very comfortable or balanced for my hand. It would be difficult to use this drill one handed for an extended period of time. Other than that it does exactly what it should. I'd recommend this drill as long as you pick it up before buying it and dont mind the feel.

This is a great drill. We have one and bought this for our son who just moved into a home that needs a lot work. I know he will put it to great use.

      Great deal

On sale and was just what I needed. We do not normally need a power drill, but there are those few occasions where one would come in handy. Not sure how much it is now, but thirty five was about fifteen less than the others.

      Suits the need

I just needed a corded drill for those times when the battery operated drill does not have enough RPM's or torque. So I just needed an inexpensive drill that I didn't think would **** out on me the first time I used it. This seemed to fit that bill so I tried it. So far it still works.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Chuck is not the greatest...

Bought this to replace an aging drill which worked fine, but the chuck was no longer grabbing the bits very well. This new one is not much better.

      Great tool

Very powerful tool. Love that it plugs in. No need to worry if you are going to run out of juice or not. It has worked great on the projects that I have been working on for Christmas.

      Good Drill

This Craftsman drill was the perfect little cheap drill (cheap in a good way) For the $24 I paid it out performs many other brands of the similar speed and functions this drill has. Built sturdy and great for small fast jobs.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      corded drill

I bought this for my husband--his drill from about 30 years ago was going--bought it in the nick of time--he loves it--loves that you do no need a chuck to put the drill bit in. We loved it so much I bought one for my son when he just bought his new house.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
