This rake does an excellent job, and I enjoyed the spring 20% discount on lawn tools, though I would have payed full price to get the protection of the Craftsman warranty. The only downside to the metal leaf rake is that it's more rough on the plants I want to keep, like grass and flowers. Some prefer a fiberglass- or metal-tube handle over wood because of splintering or weight, but the wood dowel handle works great. I'm interested to see how long the joint between handle and rake head lasts; our old one broke when the set screw stripped the threads out of the wood (it was not a Craftsman). This Craftsman looks much more durable. I would recommend this product to a friend or fellow shopper, it's well worth the price.
