My husband was always borrowing tools from our Girl's tool boxes because they were in the house and his were in the garage. For Christmas, we gave the Craftsman Evolv 52 piece Homeowner Tool Set to him. The compact set with case/box is incredibly handy for so many household projects, I wondered why he had kept any others.
The rigid toolbox has brightly-colored trim making it able to get attention when placed in an unusual place in the workroom. The box is made to be able to stay rigidly open making accessing the tools much simpler. The same applies to the tools, with each handle the same shade of bright green, they are much more visible in a dark tool box or under a bed (yes, under) where they seem to be every once in a while. No matter the job, the Evolv tools can be found due to their bright color which makes it easier to see among all other tools that are monochromatic steel or blackened from use. The tools are of a useable size, yet, a bit smaller, so they fit compactly into the box. Each tool is sturdy, well-made and designed. The tools for everyday household repairs are included in the set. This has created a need to clean out all the odds and ends of tools now rarely used that we have scattered in the house and garage. There is no longer a need to make a trip outside to the garage for a simple screwdriver, wrench or hammer. With tape measure, sockets, allen wrenches, adjustible screwdriver, utility knife and leve and hammer, almost no other hand-tool set is needed. My husband always buys Craftsman tools from Sears to be sure to have the waranty on the tools, but has only ever had to replace one which was replaced without question. To us, this proves the quality and value of buying Craftsman tools from Sears. We highly recommend this Craftsman Evolv 52 piece Homeowner Tool Set for the house, garage or vehicle.

Toolbox is extremely cheap and more like a tackle-box. I bought some screwdrivers, vise-grip, pliers, and a flashlight to add to it. Put it in my daughter's car for emergencies. Should be fine for that. Due to their quality, I wouldn't recommend these tools for daily/frequent use. Also, most of the tools are a tad smaller than the standard.

i buy this on Christmas sale and feel this tool kit would be use-full but not complacently satisfied with this kit. this kit is not worth it for $50

This tool set is not worth the costs. The hammer is small and so is the tool box. Also, the tool box is difficult to close.

Bought it for loved one. It has every basic tool needed for general home fixing. The box is sturdy and can handle the load as you get new tools. My first upgrade will probably be individual screw drivers as the little "nutdriver" type interchangeable bits supplied will probably get lost but other than that and maybe getting some "jewelers" screwdrivers the set is pretty complete for a starter set. A retired Tool Lover - Member of Amateur Division of He Who Has The Most Tools Wins club.

I love this set! it was perfect for a beginner tool set!!! and im not the most savvy chick! but i was able to build a couple book shelves and hang so photo frames on my own and im new to this home owner thing! so i was very pleased and would def recomend it!!!
