i am a aircraft mechanic in the military and a weekend warrior car enthusiast i enjoy the ergonomic design of the ratchets greatly reducing the strain on the hand the sockets are of standard craftsman quality (awesome) only small think that could be improved is the laser etching on the sides of the sockets is hard to read at times i like etched writing just because its easier but that is my only gripe with this set

I have the Allen tools equivelent version of this set and it's great for the basic needs for nuts and bolts. Both sets are made by Danaher tool company so they are the same tools, these evolv ones have more plastic and "flair" on the tools. The tools ARE a bit cheaper than standard Craftsman tools and seem slightly cheaper (in feel) but, are overall, really good for the price. I added the matching 1/4" drive ratchet to my set (VERY tough finding the Allen branded, matching one, but I did it!)and it fits in the case well, the Evolv one with the rubber handle/grip may not be able to 'float' around inside this case though so that may be a drawback. The ratchets have the full-polish handle underneath the grip but, that's likely not something that matters to you. I prefer not using the adapters when I'm working on stuff so the 1/4" ratchet was well worth it. I received the set as a gift though but, even at this price, it's a decent deal. Some of the adapters and such may be a bit tough to get out of the case for some. the driver adapter and the spinner handle to hex adapter are stuck in pretty good but, that's a minor issue. These cheaper tools are Made in China so that may be an issue for some. This is also a great set for college students, especially living in dorms. Has most everything needed for "flat pack furniture" and other ikea and the like offerings. Also takes up a small amount of space so it will fit under drawers, desks, beds, in closests or behind the door.
