I gave this cabinet one star because I couldn't go any lower. I bought this cabinet because it was the closest one I could find to an existing Coleman cabinet in my shop. This Sears "cabinet" is a pile of garbage in a box. The directions are horribly written (bad illustrations with no actual written instructions) and nothing fits together as indicated. The cardboard back (yes, CARDBOARD!) does not slide into the notches, there are gaps of close to one inch when you try to line up all the pieces, and when you use a rubber mallet (as indicated in the "instructions") most of the mounting hardware that was already installed popped out of place. For $230, I expect much better quality from Sears than this. I'm sorry that Coleman no longer makes the cabinet I purchased originally. If you're looking for a reasonably priced cabinet that can be assembled easily, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!

I bought this for my dad for christmas last year. Great item! Very durable, pretty easy to assemble and just the right heavy duty cabinet he needed for the garage. My dad is a craftsman guy so i knew he would love it! Can't go wrong with this! Just make sure you have a big enough car and are string enough to lift it!

Inconsistent harware! I purchased several units to outfit my garage and assembled them all at the same time. Went great until I tried to mount the doors... 6 cabinets with three different brands of hinges. Really? Easy enough to sort out, but how hard is it to use the same style and/or manufacturer? Piloted mounting holes are inconsistent, therefore each door needed sever adjustment.to get them close. MDF body panels are a bit soft, so cabinet wobbles. Doors are constructed better. Decent cabinet if you get them on sell, but way over priced for retail.

I found the Craftsman Evolv Floor Cabinet very easy to put together and was surprised at the strength of the cabinet after assembled. To my amazement, one of the cabinets is holding multiple gallon cans of paint as well as a couple of bags of cement and left over powdered grout from the previous construction of my home. I have research for almost 1 yr. while my home was being built and found that there is nothing available at the unbelievable low price of the Evolv. I thought, at that price surely its got to be cheap construction, I was wrong, that's why I now have 3 of the Evolv Floor Cabinets, they look great in my garage and if I had room for more I would buy a couple more. I highly recommend them.

I bought the Evolv floor cabinet to use in my washroom. I have to say, having purchased a lot of different KO furniture over the years, I was pretty disappointed with this one. At $200 plus, I would have expected better. I almost missed the small instruction that covered removing the protective film on the panels. At first I thought the finish was just that horrible but once I pulled the film off, that part was not too bad. NOTE: Be careful pulling the film off, it tried to pull the actual black laminate off with it on a couple panels. Also, do not wait until after assembly to pull it all off, pull of all interior surfaces first or you will end up with ragged edges where the panels are secured together. While the fastener design is a nice concept, the implementation in this case failed. Securing the studs in all the way placed the 'pocket' for the taper that mates to the locking screw to far inward in most cases and it ends up tightening on the flat which does not pull the assembly tight as it should. I strongly suggest leaving the studs loose by a turn or so and remove the locking screws to make sure the position of the 'pocket' section is out far enough for the screw to mate correctly. Additionally, the one fixed shelf was too short by a good 1/8 inch and I was not able to close that gap no matter how hard I pulled. As the previous reviewer said, make sure and adjust the hinges all the way out or you'll never get the door on. Once good feature about the hinges is not even mentioned or shown in the instructions. The plate that mounts to the inside of the cabinet sides actually unclips so they can be mounted without having to hold the door up. You can then, with a little effort, just snap the three hinges back together and the door is mounted. Be prepared to adjust the hinges. I found it odd that the top panel had a higher level of finish than the rest of the cabinet since you will never see it. The adjustable feet are of benefit. I would do that before mounting the doors as it should make the cabinet more plumb and that will affect the hinge adjustments. The best feature of this unit ? The door handles. At least two grades above the rest of the cabinet. If I had purchased this to be used where appearance and functionality counted more, I would have taken it back but for the laundry room, I can deal with it. For a few dollars more than the full price of this unit, ***** has a very nice wood cabinet with a sliding drawer in a light oak finish. It is deeper than this unit but having bought the bigger 48" version of it, the quality to cost ratio is much higher.

These cabinets are far and above any others I found while conducting my search of internet and retail stores. Lowes, Home Depot, Menards - none of them have cabinets that even come close. I ordered (3) 3-drawer floor cabinets, (3) wall cabinets, and (2) tall floor cabinets. The price is unbeatable, the quality is fantastic, and the finished product is unbelievable. They have a metallic silver finish on the front that has a great reflection off of my garage lights. These cabinets are the best value on the market, hands down. Assembly takes some time, so if you are buying 8 cabinets like we did, I would suggest just having them assembled for you. It took us every bit of 12 hours over two days, however 1.5 of those hours were spent fixing a mistake we made at the end of the second day. So, if you're more handy than we were, you could shave some time off our total. The secret to the assembly is adjusting the hinges prior to attaching the doors. Other than that, the directions are fairly intuitive and easy to follow. I ordered all the cabinets online, and they showed up at the store on the exact date they were promised. Look no further, these are the ones.
