Like the handle
I bought this because of the handle. It cuts just as well as any normal brand pruner, but it's nice to have a handle that won't slip if while you cut. It works well.

Disappointingly awful!!
These are TERRIBLE. If feels like they aren't sharp at all, but for whatever reason, they will only cut the very thinnest of branches. Further, exerting enough force to cut a thicker branch results in the safety lock engaging itself. I spent half my time reopening the pruners. I would say to anyone who asked, "Don't buy these!"

Nice pruner

This pruner is very nice and meets our needs perfectly. It is very sturdy in build and design. Has a nice locking feature to keep pruner closed when not in use.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good value for the product

Very good item and excellent price. It is the right tool I was looking for to prune my rose plants and other plants in the garden. Quality of the tool is good and worked like a charm.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

It wore out in a month

This Craftsman pruner looks beautiful and sharp enough. Another Craftsman red-colored pruner is not good. Black & Decker Pruner is even better. Black & Decker pruner is cheaper, small but can get the job done well. Too bad that there is no Kmart near my home, so I have to buy this pruner instead. Update: It wore out within a month and I only use few times. I won't buy anything from Craftsman anymore. Now I need to buy a new Black & Decker pruner!

Bypass Pruner

Excellent product. Good grip and cuts well. Also has a latch that allows the bypass pruner to be closed when not using. Cut mostly new growth on shrubs around house but also on some established growth with firmer branches.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
