Well Built Craftsman Pruner
Lost my old pruner and decided to go with Craftsman. Shipped fast and is heavy duty. Looks like it will last for years and can cut some serious branches. One concern I do have is the spring between the two handles. Looks like rolled around metal? The lock is available on both sides which comes in handy. Give it 4 stars as not sure about the spring. Looks and feels heavy duty so do not let this deter you from purchasing. You will be happy.

Disappointingly awful!!
These are TERRIBLE. If feels like they aren't sharp at all, but for whatever reason, they will only cut the very thinnest of branches. Further, exerting enough force to cut a thicker branch results in the safety lock engaging itself. I spent half my time reopening the pruners. I would say to anyone who asked, "Don't buy these!"

cutters

We thought this ergonomic plant cutter would be great but it isn't as comfortable as expected when clipping. Possibly we need to get use to it.

Dull from Day 1

I bought quite a few of these because the price was good. Bad decision. Even the first time I tried to use them, they were too dull to do the easiest job.

Invest in something better

These are a piece of junk. The second time I used them they started to fall apart while trimming new growth on a plumbego bush, nothing really tough. Not even worth the time and gas to return it.

Light duty only

Product good for light duty. Watch out for the locking mechanism,if not fully retracted it will break the locking latch when you squeeze to prune..Mine is broken so I will return for replacement.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

great addition to yard tools

perfect pruner for quick trimming of shrubs and trees. this pruner stays sharp and has no problem cutting through branches up to 1/2" thick. the only annoyance that takes getting used to is the blade locking assembly. several instances when reaching into shrubbery to trim a branch, the plastic latch slides over the handle and locks the blades closed. otherwise, the pruner itself works great!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
