      Ceiling Fan Installation
      Project Brief

So you're thinking about installing or replacing a ceiling fan? Good idea. It adds airflow and even some extra style to your room. Before we get to the details, keep a few things in mind. It's important to know how much space you're working with. A ceiling fan too small for the room is pointless, and one too large is dangerous. Also, are you connecting your fan to two switches or one? If there are two switches, you'll be able to control the fan and the light separately. If there is only one switcho big dealou'll just have to control the light with a pull cord. With that out of the way, here's your step-by-step guide to installing a ceiling fan.

Before you even take the parts out of the box, read the instruction manual. We also recommend you use these plans to follow along with our instructional video.
