cut great, if tension is proper, use must keep the nut tensioned right or they will bind, but are guaranteed forever!

I have purchased many tools that have been less than advertised, my Craftsman Fiberglass Handle Bypass Lopper is not one of these tools. It is lightweight and sturdy, which makes for a great tool on the job or at home.

These loppers are great! We bought these to replace an old wooden-handled pair that had begun to splinter and crack from being left outside too often. The fiberglass handles assure me that they will last a long time - even when they accidentally get left outside. They work great trimming the larger diameter bushes, shrubs, and trees and the length of the handles are perfect for reaching into thicker or higher spots. They come with a plastic sleeve that you can put back on the blades for storage which protects them from getting dull when bouncing around in the garden cart or being moved around in the shed. We recently had a yard clean up party and these were left in the yard by one of my helpers but because the handles are red I was able to find them without a problem!
