Love the trimmer, but never can get replacement flails. I can not beleive craftsman and sears can let this happen. I thought they were both excellent companies but now I'm not so sure.

These work great! They do precisely what they are meant to do! Yes, finding them in stock seems to be an issue, but maybe they don't make them because they have such a low review and the only complaint about them is the low stock. So.... lets review the product instead of the availability! Please make more and put me at the head of the line!

The Nextec trimmer is great as it is light weight and the battery lasts for about 20 minute sper charge. This "flailing accessory" however is a nighmare for the customer and a business/marketing windfall for Sears. It wears off extremely fast especially when trimming along brick/concete edges, you can't buy it at the store only online for a ridiculous $$$ price (+ shipping) compared to the nylon lines for regular trimmers. It was a mistake to get it, and Sears is not taking it back. So next spring I'm headed to ********** and get a line trimmer.

So you go to Sears to buy a line Trimmer then after spending $75 3 months later you can't buy the line so the trimmers garbage!!! Way to go Sears!! Making new unhappy customers daily! You should put that on the TV!!!

I would review these blades, but they can't be found anywhere! And thetrimmer they are for is also unavailable anywhere. Not surprisingly, then, I can't give these a good review. The trimmer itself is ok, but the blades are worthless. Each one only lasts one use. If these blades make contact with anything other than plant material (sidewalk, fence, post, etc.) they wear down almost instantly. One time around the yard and the blade is literally half gone, and it will have lost effectiveness well before that due to being too short. So now I have a battery and a powerstick that are worthless. Sears should buy all of these back.

DO NOT BUY! Works great when you have flails. Sears has been out and had them on back order since Sept. 2011. I wore out all I had and now can't use it.

I LOVE THE TRIMMER. I HATE SEARS FOR SELLING IT TO ME AND NOT KEEPING THE FLAILS IN STOCK. I HAVE BEEN OUT OF THEM SINCE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER I PURCHASED THE TRIMMER. I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY COST, JUST GET THEM BACK IN STOCK, SEARS!!! THE TRIMMER MAKE THE WORK SO EASY BUT YOU MUST HAVE FLAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great idea for use of rechargeable trimmer, but the flails stand no chance for 'somewhat' heavy duty trimming. Trimmers are supposed to be used in areas that are non-accessible by mowers, obstructed by concrete/stone; the flails cannot handle trimming grass in these zones due to their lack of DURABILITY. There needs to be a manufacturing improved standard, or provide 100% satisfaction guarantee; return policy.

Constantly flying off makes it very expensive to trim our lawn...don't even try to use the edging feature against anything solid....we need a great after-market solution that is sharper and stays attached. Zero replacements available anywhere = Useless tool!!

These are just way to expensive to use and impossible to replace currently as of 9-18-2011 Sears&Craftsman have ZERO in stock and have been out of stock for weeks now. Don't even think of using this tool to edge next to any hard surface, you know like your sidewalk. Trimmer is handy for light fast use. Our yard is an average city yard and $3(6 flails) to trim it everytime seems insane to me. Solution: We need a great after-market replacement thats sharper and stays attached.
