Recently purchased this Craftsman Flex Shaft Attachment to add to my Nextec cordless rotary tool. Very easy to attach to the rotary tool and you can change bits quickly. I had just a little problem when I first got it, but thinking just because the package looked like it had been there for a while and the greese was a bit stiff. Got that taken care of and the flex shaft has worked great ever since. I just hand my rotary tool on a hook at my work table and hold the flex shaft like a pen and goto work. This also fits well into my storage bag that came with my Nextec rotary tool very well. My main purpose for buying this flex shaft is that I am learning to do some light wood carving using my rotary tool and to help me on some of my wood projects. Plus this will come in handy when I am cutting my all threads for some other projects and for doing detailed sanding with the sanding drums....

Have owned and loved Dremel products for years and years. Two years ago I added a complete Craftsman Multi-Variable Speed Rotary Tool, w/ Flex-Shaft Attachment, stand, router, angle head, etc., etc. to my tool box. I totally am sold on the Craftsman product!! The weight, handling, quality of product and attachments - as well as variety of attachments - makes this one well rounded, versatile product. Am looking to add another rotary tool to our shop (just so "someone" won't have to wait on me laying it down so they can grab it!), and I know it will be the Craftsman brand. Dremel is still a great product - but Craftsman has surely given it a run for the money, and has found a home at my house!! Love the fact that almost everything is at Sears or Kmart, and I can even order online!
