Revised fuel cap threads
This review will be helpful for those having issues with the yellow-threaded fuel caps. The stock fuel cap in black and yellow had a weakness where the yellow threaded plastic was too thin and broke after a season of use. This redesigned all black (unlike pictured) is molded out of one piece of plastic. This upgraded design results in a thicker layer of material at the threads so in theory should last quite long. Go ahead and don't hold back on picking this up with the two fuel saver capsules. I do not use the fuel saver during the mowing season, only when I have to store the machine for longer will I snap that onto the cap.

Not well made
My mower came with a Fresh Start Fuel Cap. It was not well made, and broke when slightly over-tightened. I went into the store, seeing as the only fuel cap available is the Fresh Start one. I was surprised to find a generic one for about $3. It fit, and seems to work just fine.

Works as designed.

Nothing really spectacular about this. Works as designed but the packaging is different than what is pictures. Should not make a difference. Cap works well and hope it lasts for a while.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

replaced

Have to replace yet again because it broke and gas poured out everywhere. I feel these are cheaply made and yet there the only ones available for my model lawnmower so i have to get them.

Didn't fix perfect.

Not a very tight sealing cap. When the mower was tipped on it's side the cap did allow gas to leak out of the tank. Not recommended.

Better

The last one fell apart, so I had to buy this one. It is made differently, so, maybe it is better than the last one. Too expensive, at any rate.

Quick and Easy

This was a breeze to use and something worth the price. It will be even more valuable in the Fall and Winter months when you don't have to cut grass as often and the Lawn Mower sits idle in the garage. Keeps you from pouring out old gas from your tank somewhere which could hurt the enviroment.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This fuel cap is a POS

It should be a crime to put this fuel cap on a $300 lawn mower. I've broken 2 of them already and cannot find a replacement other than the OEM POS.

More Craftsman Garbage

This is just more Craftsman junk. Breaks easily and is just an overpriced gimick. I'm done with anything Craftsman.
