So we have two openers of the OLDER version. We can either have those two work...or this new one, not both. Not handy so far...more troubleshooting work necessary. :(

Much too fragile & hair-trigger, if dropped total goes to pieces, no delay on switch to not unknowingly opening Gar.Door. Bought 4 so far, only one constantly holds program. Much too expensive for quality electronics received. My old dead Dad would be ashamed of Sears on this one.

We have tried to program this remote several times. We can program it but then all other remotes will no longer operate. I plan to return it as it's of no use given the problem.

I bought this product because of the size. My cars visor is to thick to clip an opener to it and there isn't a good place to put a full size one in my car. But I have had to change batteries every month. The remote drains batteries fast and they are expensive. At first month I figured the battery it came with was just a bad one. Second month I figured since I kept the remote on my key chain I was just pressing the button down while it was in my pocket and it was draining the battery. So I left it in my car. Still drains batteries like crazy. My main opener hasn't needed new batteries in 4 yrs. My recommendations is get the cheapest most basic remote possible.

I was replace the Black Button Key Chain Opener. Even thou they say this replaces it. It does not holder the code after. 5 minutes. I brought one and I had the problem with it not working after 5 minutes. I took it back and got another one thinking that the 1st one was defective, I had the same problem with the 2nd one. My old one still workers after I put tape around it. Now the larger one that you clip on your visor works great. So it is just the key chain remotes that do not work when replacing the old black button modle
