Very happy with this purchase

We bought these keychain remotes after our car was broken into and the garage remote was used to break into our house.  These keychain remotes give us a lot of peace of mind, and they work fantastically.

Beware, Your garage may not be secure!
I bought this remote along with the Model 3050 Keypad. I had an existing Craftsman Model 41A4315-7H Opener. I already had one of the original (visor) remotes programmed to the opener. I added the Model 3050 Keypad without issue, but when I added this remote, it erased the other two devices from the memory. Then I added the visor remote followed by the Model 3050 Keypad and it worked (at least I thought), The next day my son discovered that the Keypad would open the door without entering any PIN (just pushing the ENTER button). I tried reprogramming the three devices in every possible combination (reviewing the instructions at every attempt). I could only get the remote to work with the existing visor remote (not the Model 3050 keypad), I eventually returned this remote.

Does not last

I purchased this item to keep in my pocket and to use when riding my motorcycle at the end of October. Needless to say I didn't use it very much during the winter and when I went to use it in March, it was no longer working. After replacing the battery, the opener worked again however only for a few days in which the battery was once again full depleted. I called Sears warranty unit and they told I would've had to return it after 30 days. Definitely not happy with them not standing behind their product. I do not recommend buying craftsman unfortunately my house already had a craftsman opener when I moved in so I'm stuck with it until I replace the whole unit.

Aweful Product

I spent what I consider a lot of money for this little gadget and it is garbage. Dropped my keys and the thing completely falls apart and now I cannot even find the insides to put back together. I will never buy again or recommend this product. Waste of money.

Not sturdy

I love how compact this garage door opener is, but it is not sturdy at all. I have replaced it twice in a one year timeframe, because the plastic case will come apart and the inside guts will fall out. Of course, I do not notice until I need to use it, so I do not have an opportunity to find the inside guts.

the most inexpensive opener Sears carries, and the smallest.
