Works Great on Minor Rust Pitting...

Lately I have been restoring some antique tools that I had collected years ago and forgot about. I rediscovered them one day while cleaning the attic of my shop out. It was like Christmas morning all over again finding a forgot bow (actually two) of vintage tools.

I set out to bring these tools back to the original glory. I know that tool collectors advise against cleaning old tools - but hey there mine and I want them as display pieces for my woodworking shop.

Cleaning and buffing these old tools does take a little time but the results can be well worth the effort. The blade on this 1890 Hatchet pictured had some minor pitting that I was able to grind off with this Grinding Stone and my Craftsman Variable Speed Rotary Tool. The aluminum oxide stone cuts the rust and scale without doing much damage to the steel blade of the hatchet.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
