I have put this set to the test and it performs just as well as a set selling at twice the price. You can't go wrong purchasing this set.

Craftsman Harmonic Balancer Puller was purchased to work on a project car, but wound up being used more in my shop on small engine repairs than on auto repairs. It worked great on my project car when I used it while working on a 305HP Chevy engine. I quickly discovered it had many uses for me inside of my shop too. I use it to help remove some flyhweels, rusted blade adapters below deck on pushmowers. Removing pulleys off of transaxles and deck spindles. It also helped remove steering wheels from lawn tractors. I have even used it to help remove the back wheels off of rusted rims on lawn tractors. So, I purchased this for one job, I quicklly discovered that it had many many more duties it was capable of handling. I would recommend this tool for your tool boxes as it is one tough little item and will lasts for many jobs to come.

This hamonic balancer comes with bolts and other pieces to distribute the load pressure from the bolt in one area, but it does not come in a case that can be reused. But other than no case, it appears to be of great quality.

I've been trying to cut back on the amount of foreign goods that I buy. When I finally gave up on finding my import puller that I lost(had came in a project car I bought) I went on a hunt for a USA Made Puller. The tool truck brands were out due to price, I looked for a used on at swap meets and never found one. I refused to buy one from **************, and decided to pull the trigger on the craftsman figuring it was imported but warranty would be easy if needed. I picked it up in store and it's Made in USA according to the packaging. The picture online isn't current, it comes with two pointed heads not the flat swivel as shown. The puller body is a bit bulky compared to the one in the picture but I'd rather have function over form. Overall it seems very well built and I'm happy that I only paid $3 more than the HF junk.

I have used this puller on several engines. It is very easy to fit onto the crank damper pulley using the supplied set screws-the three different thread sets fitted the US, Euro and Jap manufactured cars on which I was working. The tool seems to be well made and strong, which is very important as these pulleys generally are a tight fit on the crank! The puller works on steering wheels also. A good buy!

This is a great harmonic balancer puller especially for the low price. I have used it on 3 engines so far and it worked great each time. I did have to go buy some special metric bolts for one of the engines, however none of the harmonic balancer pullers I have seen come with them so it was no big deal. I like that this puller comes with 2 different swivel head attachments and I have needed both. Most balancer pullers only come with one swivel head or none at all. This is the best harmonic balancer puller that I have ever used that cost less than $50.
