Myself not being a real mechanic I decided to give this a try anyway. What a great product! Worked like a charm even though it doesn't have instructions. If a novice like me can figure it out anyone can.

for two piston calipers there's no tool I would rather have. These are made of great quality and have great mechanical advantage over the pistons. If you do brake jobs you need this

Quality materials, tough enough to handle an impact wrench for my sticky pistons, even fell off the lift five feet to concrete floor without a scratch on threads and other surfaces.

I used this tool shortly after buying it. It was nicer than using the old "C" clamp. I used it with a spine-flex 1/4 ratchet which allowed me to use it as a one handed speed handle. Nice and smooth operation. A definate must for doing disc brakes.

This tool is well worth the cost. It is a bit of a hassle to remove the 2nd screw. THe cap should be easier to remove.

I have one of the really cheap spreaders and this thing is a far cry better than those and not a whole lot more money. It is hard to get into tight spaces with it but I guess you can't have everything. Overall I would say this tool should hold up for a long time and be able to perform many brake jobs so I am very happy with this purchase.

I just purchased this tool and found that the end caps would not come off either of the bolts in order to insert the bolt into the backing plate.

I purchased this tool after getting tired of using the cheap thumbscrew kind. This tool works very well for doing disc brakes. You can compress both pistons at the same time so you don't have to go back and forth between the two as they try they push eachother back out. Good tool. I would recommend this tool for anyones tool box.
