Haven't used this knife much yet, but so far I like the heavy-duty build so it should last awhile. The blade-changing system is easy and the blade storage is very convenient. This type of knife beats the older, usual style of utility knife hands down.

I give this as gifts to everyone. They are so much better than the old fashioned utility knife that moved the blade up and down. It is a jack knife so there is no forgetting to put the blade down. You can buy it with a case that goes on your belt. This is a great gift for any do-it-yourselfer or carpenter on your gift list!

The rubber, thumb grip is just one of my favorite aspects of the knife. The color, duribility and spare razor slide just adds to the overall coolness of this craftsman piece. I like brown leather, so for me the case I got was an added bonus. The case is not to everyones taste but the most important part of this product is the knife itself. The Knife is built solid and has a very thick handle which I like and makes for easier, safer, and more accurate cuts. BUY THIS KNIFE!

This craftsman heavy duty ultility knife has it all. Great design, great locking mechanism, rubber grip and auto blade remover for replacement. I do recommend this knife to anyone.

Craftsman tools are always sturdy and last just about forever. This was a gift for my fiance for his birthday and he is really thrilled with this.

I bought this knife mostly because of the blade retention system, it is not a ridiculous light-duty clasp like on some el-cheapo knives, it is a heavy duty slide mechanism. My secound reason for buying the knife was of couse the forever warranty. This knife works extremely well for scoring sheetrock, because it has extra blades in the handle for a quick replacement blade without having to go digging in your tool box. The BEST general purpose utility knife I have ever owned. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality utility knife. I also highly recommend Irwin bi-metal blades, they easily cut 2x more sheetrock than standard "heavy-duty" blades.

You simply can't beat the price for this knife. You get the knife, 5 extra blades (6 blades total), and a carrying case for $20. The knife fits comfortably in your hand and opens very easily and "locks" open. With the flick of a switch right on the handle a tray comes out that stores the extra blades. Blade changing is as easy as 1, 2, 3. And the blade is "locked" into the front of the knife. Finally it's a Craftsman meaning if it ever malfunctions just return to Sears and get a new one for free. I use mine at work and it's great!

I recently received mine as a christmas gift from my folks. I've had other pocket knives and utility knives, but nothing compares to this one. It's somewhat bulky but lightweight. Great look, six blades in one how can you beat that. If Macgyver carried a utility knife this would for sure be the one.
