Easily pinch heater hoses and small coolant lines

Great for pinching off small coolant lines and heater hoses when doing repairs and you don't want to make a mess.

Holds tight

They do a great job of keeping a hose pinched. They can be a little hard to release, but this comes with strong pinching action

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Junk

What a piece of junk. The pliers couldn't pinch off the fuel line or the power steering line I tried them on. They lock up too easily. Getting them apart requires Herculean strength, even when you barely close them. Don't waste your time buying these.

These are great

These are the greatest thing when it comes to having to fix heater hoses or just remove one end of them. They work well. They squeeze the hose off completely and haven't had them damage any hoses yet like vice grips would. I bought two pairs if these.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
Clamp needs an improved release mechanism.

The tool will clamp a hose and hold tight but the problem comes when you need to release the clamp. You need to pull the handles away from each other but it is necessary to pull very hard and you will be likely to bust your knuckles or scrape your hand when the force is released and you are pulling with all of your might while working in a tight space under the hood of a car. The clamp has jammed every time I have used it. This tool needs a separate release lever to make it user friendly. I am returning mine as soon as possible.
