Product Description
This hydraulic seat from Craftsman combines comfort, support and a professional appearance with its high-polished, chrome-plated frame, adjustable padded back rest and hydraulic seat. Its heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder provides smooth seat height adjustment, and the non-slip adjustable feet allow the chair to be level, even on uneven surfaces.

Assembly is a piece of cake no instructions required. I currently own 6 out of 7 colors of the hydraulic's (can not find silver), plus 2 hydraulic wrench and 1 flame style Craftsman chair. Plus I have 4 Craftsman stools. Seat is comfortable and is adjustable to the height of my 3 Craftsman tables. Comfortable to sit on for the length of 2 football games. I would stand on them or use them for ladders, but all in all a good addition to the man cave. I buy nothing unless it's on sale, picked them all up for $46.00 each.

Assembly instructions are not clear. There is one drawing that labels the parts. That's it. No detail drawings. They are written poorly. It took me several attempts and I am not a novice. Seat is comfortable and is adjustable to the height of my workbench. The seat looks good.

This stool is all right for general use. It is generally comfortable, but not for more than two or three hours at a time. It isn't worth $80, wait for a sale or buy it used.

Foot pegs fell apart first week. Stool supports constantly come loose, screw in lock knobs fall out. Base of seat broke off within five months. Would never buy another.

Nice shop stool, reasonably comfortable with decent back support a plus. However, the feet work loose after a year or so, and the parts for repairs don't appear to be available, rendering the stool a prospect for the trash heap. I've bought much cheaper stools, while not as comfortable, lasted far longer. Sears could resolve issues like this by simply having a way to order parts from their web site.
