Everything is great about this light except the material they use at the base of the light becomes brittle with heat. The yellow shroud is attached to the black handle right at the base of the bulb. The spacer around the base is what I am talking about. It became brittle and so you can't screw the yellow shroud down tight enough to keep it from coming loose from the handle (pretty much everythime I use it). It has made the light pretty much unusable. I went to Sears and was told that they can't get any parts for this light. I have also tried the parts web sight and can't find it either.

Very good retractable work light because it works well in any weather. It also has an electric recepticle that really comes in handy. Put your own compact flourescent in it rather than a rough service bulb. The only problem is you cannot get parts when the push through switch breaks. It's a simple fix if Sears made a couple parts available.

Craftsman Incandescent Work Light with 30 ft. Retractable Reel with Steel Enclosure this is one of those lights that come in really handy for working in tight places. It is great hanging over the engine of the vehicles my husband is working on. This was the best Christmas gift his Mom could have ever given him. He absolutely loves it.

I have used this product for several years now and it is extremely well made. It always rolls back up without any problems, it has a very strong return spring action. Always works when I need it too. I would say 30 feet would be sufficient for any home mechanic. Love this item!

Super easy to mount and with a metal case and a heavy duty cord this work light is great. The adjustable magnet is very handy under my jeep, and the bright cord is easy to avoid tripping over.

This product is well worth the value, when I was working on my vehicle it was nice to have the magnet on this product, it made it much easier to work on my vehicle! Also this product is very dirable and not plastic that can easily break.
