I was thriilled that our local Sears carries this item --at first I thought we had to buy a whole new garage door kit. It was out of stock the day I shopped, but the pleasant salesperson said he would order more and to check back next week. It was a good price, easy to install on the outside of the house, easy to program. I expect it to last a long time, as it replaced one we had over 10 years.

workes great for them times when u lock your keys in the house or even in the car or truck and u cant get back in the house. u and just use the keyless entry pad to open the door and get the keys... its also great for the kids, kids are always losing the house keys and ur always having to go out and buy a new set for them but not with this baby... just have them rem the code and they can come and u dont have to worry about them losing tthere key and them not being able to get inside after school and make u get off work early to let them in. i own one of this keyless entry pad and i have not had a prob. grade it at a A++

This is an awesome garage door opener accessory. This wireless keypad is easy to set-up and easier to install. It programs to any of the newer style GDO's just like programming your remotes for your vehicles, simple hit the learn button on the opener and set your code and hit enter. Mounting is as simple as driving in a screw and leaving about a 3/8" of the head exposed to hang the device on. Simple and easy. Now any time you need to access your garage you don't need to run to your car to hit the opener, or fumble with keys on you side entry door, just punch a code and hit enter. you can allow temporary codes to work for a limited amount of house say for a family member to gain access or a repair man, then it will revert to the old code. You can also periodically change your code too, any time you want! Great security feature! I use mine every day and would be lost without it! Sears sells this item for around $39.99, making this a good buy!
