I received this as a gift a couple of weeks back and have already used it on a couple of different projects to include hanging a set of pictures my wife has and installing a chair rail in our dining room.
Easy to set up and no empty vials to be concerned with. Easily worth the $35 price tag to ensure accuracy!

Bought this to hang a bunch of shelves and hoped to use it for many more projects in the future. I put it on the tripod and leveled it. The line on the wall was nowhere near level. Over 2' it was out 1/4". I repeatedly adjusted it hoping it would work but it was a no-go. I bought it today and will return it tomorrow.

This seems to be the exact product from DeWalt, but at a much more fair price. This has tripod (1/4") thread to mount on any tripod. Very convenient. It also swings from 180 to 90 degrees AND any angle in between. This is a professional tool at a homeowner price. 5 stars from here.

I've owned this level a few years (received as a gift). I've only used it about 4 times. I took it out today and found the horizontal bubble level has almost no fluid in it with no signs of leakage. Of course it's out of warranty now so it's useless to me. So much for the Craftsman name. I have some of their tools that are 30 years old and have had no problem. The newer stuff appears to be useless Chinese products of crap quality.

I have used it to build a retaining wall, a workshop, and hang pictures. This is a really nice tool to have in the house, anyone could find reasons to own and use

I've had this level for about two years and decided to use it to hang cabinets. When you level the laser the line is over 1 1\4" off in six feet. If you can't level the unit the line is useless. So much for Sears tools.

I bought one at an auction last Sat. It looked as if it had not even been used. No wonder. Found one bubble empty. I happened to have a cheap plastic torpedo level from Ace Hardware and found one of the bubbles from it was the same size. It now works but have not used is yet. It appears to me to be off considerably in horizontal plane. Not what I expected from Craftsman

Worth every penny! Great flexibility and ease of use. I've been using it in a very old, remodeled carriage house on doors, windows, pictures, etc. If it isn't level, I didn't do it.
