Anyone know why the blade will not stay locked in the "up" postion? I don't see any broken parts that would prevent this operation. Seems a few other people have the same problem.

Love the plow. Wish it snowed more. Only hiccup on installation was I put wrong bracket on. The ease of how it goes on and off is great, pull pin and lifts off. No bolting every season. Never had issue with traction pushed 5-6 inches of snow got stuck once. Driveway 200' long large turnaround near house. Great purchase.

I have a long gravel driveway and wanted a way to clear snow. I was quite disappointment that even though it was installed by Sears, it still did not rotate from side to side. Also, you will need chains just to move in the snow more less push snow. I have returned the product.

i bought this 3 years ago and i could not be happier. it was a little hard to install but worth it i use it to plow my long driveway and works just like a full size plow on a smaller scale the only thing i had to do was get chains for the tires this set up sure beats a snow blower

Our area would think a sidewalk plow would be good. For 2' & 3' sidewalks. A 24" plow attachment for sidewalks with chains for rear tires.

Bought this plow back in 2005 for my 2004 lt1000, and has been great every year, in kentucky we only get about 12in a year, but im sure this would work great in other climates also, our driveway is about 75 feet long and goes up hill no problem with weights and chains, very easy to install only takes my 13yo 45 mins to install, he can do 4 driveways in one hour when we get about 4 inches. blade has not rusted and i have not had to replace anything yet after 7 years, I'm guessing this equipment will last about another 10 to 15 years with normal maintenance

I wish Sears had a snow blade oradapter set for other manufacturers of lawn tractors. I had to return.

I have read many comments, It went together better than expected but I had trouble with Step 9. Unless I miss something, it does not lock in the up position while driving. Any extra parts were explained in the manual.

It went together in about 2 hours...with coffee breaks and some restroom stops. Yes there were some extra parts, as this blade is designed for a few different frame/tractor set-ups. My best suggestion is know what models this blade fits...then when you get the parts, line the frame brackets up with your frame to get the right parts set-up. Once you figure out what what bolts are required for the setup then just use the instructions....My skill level is years of automotive engine rebuilds and minor home tasks. And I was with a wife who wanted to help and as the assembly wore on she was doing it all. If you cant identify simple tools then dont bother trying this without someone standing buy to guide you. If you can read and can change spark plugs or a tire then YOU will be ok. Now onto the blade...I havent used it for snow so I cannot say how well it does. But i did use it to push compost and leave piles around and it did well.

I Read all the horror stories about putting the plow together and was not sure I should buy it. However I found it pretty easy to put together. Just read the directions and place all the parts out that are called for and went step by step. 2 hours to read the instructions and put together. Nice plow cant wait to use.
