Tough and bright little flashlight
Craftsman 3 AAA LED Tool Light was a cheap little flashlight that I purchased for odd jobs in my work shop about a year ago. I really wasn't expecting much out of it as everyone has the "best" flash light out there. I was very suprised with this little work light. The light is brighter than I thought it would be. The metal case, makes it durable. I have dropped this light I don't know how many times in the shop, on the cement while working on tractors and stuff or while working on the ol' house and dropping from ladder. It has never stopped working or has never blown a bulb. With all of the drops and banging around, the light still looks new. The polished metal case has no rust what so ever. I have used the light in the rain with no problems. The only thing that I have had to replace on this light are the batteries. Even those seem to last pretty long on it. As I said, I use it in my shop all of the time and am quite pleased with it. When Christmas rolled around, I got my wife to purchase a few more of these lights & we gave them as stocking stuffers for my boys and my son n laws. My neighbor went & purchased him one after he was in my shop one day and I was using the light on a project. He looked it over & made a trip to Sears on his next trip to town. Tough and bright. That's what a flash light should be and this one meets that criteria for me! I guess if I used the wrist strap that comes with the light, I would not be dropping it so much. The rubber head on the flash light is pretty tough too. As I said before, it is about a year old and still looks new and I use this little flash light pretty dang regularly. I would not hesitate a second at recommending this little flash light to anyone.
Craftsman 3 AAA LED Tool Light was also a life saver when we had that extremely unusualy frigid artic blast a few weeks ago. We had a large power outage for several hours with temps around zero and the winds were howling and the snow started falling & I grabbed the flash lights we had in the pantry & one didn't work and the other didn't last too long beofre it died. I made my way to my shop & grabbed my little Craftsman light & used it in the house while we lit the fire place. That little light outlasted and out iluminated our other lights by far. I never thought we would be using that little light during a frigid blast to give us light to make it until morning. We got power back on the noxt morning but lost it off and on several times for the next three days. I changed the batteries once during this time. The other lights got batteries changed 3-times during the same time frame.

Very disappointed!!

Bought yesterday to use it for running at night in the winter...opened the package and the top of the fell off to the floor...it was cracked all the way around the light (the package had no damage at all).... Very concerning as this is labeled as rugged and shock/cold resistant. I love sears and I am very surprised. Went to return it in store and they said it was discontinued...I can't say I am surprised. Got refund but I lost my rewards point now because of the return...Not Happy!!!!

Craftsman Flashlights Are The Best

I found Craftsman flashlights to be some of the best ever made. I like that This flashlight lasts for 17 hours if you neede it on that long. With spring and summer on the way, thunder storms occur and everyone needs a good flashlight in case electricity is lost.

Nice flashlight, LEDs are bright

I have worked on aircraft for years and one of the requirements we must meet is to use non-sparking flashlights when working on the aircraft.  This is to prevent flash fires when we are squeezed into tight corners working on various parts as most chemicals used on aircraft can be ignited (it's not just fuel that will ignite but many other fluids and even some solid compunds).  This flashlight is extremely well made, will survive a drop off a wing and still keep working.  This is because of a sturdy mechanism and the LED bulbs.  The bulbs do not have a fragile filament as do conventional flashlight bulbs.  LEDs do not focus as well as conentional bulbs but do provide a nice flood light effect.  You will find this light useful working on cars, boats, airplanes, and even looking for that lost kitchen utensil under the drawer.

The Craftsman flashlight I purchased is very powerful

I recently purchased a Craftsman Led flashlight from my local Sears store. The flashlight is probably the best one I ever purchased. The only down fall with the flashlight is this is my 2nd one. I had to purchase the additional light because Sears does not sell the replacement bulbs for the light. Other than that I highly recomend the flashlight.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman 3 AAA LED Tool Light is a dependable led light.

One of the Sears serviceman that came out to fix my snowblower had one. He was very impressed with how durable it is and recommeded it.

I have seen others and their battery holder can break from being dropped.

This has a better holder and it the length of time on the batteries is great.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman led tool light does not last

I purchased two of these lights at a very good price.  I was slightly concerned with battery life since I'm used to D cells in my Craftsman lights.  Within the first two weeks the first light led broke at the solder point and was visibly hanging.  The other light didn't make it to two months.  I never made it through the first set of batteries on either light.  This is a great contrast to the incandescent Craftsman lights that have the led power indicators on them.  Those lights are workhorses. Unfortunately, Raovac makes a better, cheaper led light that even comes with a set of standard (non-alkali) batteries.  I don't usually write bad reviews, but even a negative review can be helpful when you want to make an informed purchase.

Bright Luxeon 1 watt LED and durable

I picked up the 3 AAA version about two years ago. Still works fine. No issues. I have droped it on concrete on numerous occasions. Nice powerful beam too. Fits in the car glove box. Would definetly buy one again. Sears dosen't give the Kelvin rating but it's very white in color probably in the 4500K range.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
