Craftsman  LED 3 AAA Tool Light, Flash Light

Bought yesterday to use it for running at night in the winter...opened the package and the top of the fell off to the floor...it was cracked all the way around the light (the package had no damage at all).... Very concerning as this is labeled as rugged and shock/cold resistant. I love sears and I am very surprised. Went to return it in store and they said it was discontinued...I can't say I am surprised. Got refund but I lost my rewards point now because of the return...Not Happy!!!!

first time batteries were changed, the plastic totally disintegrated-- cute light......but totally useless when the plastic housing cracked in my hands.........as I change the batteries to be ready for the hurricane that is moving in right now...yeah...not helpful don't buy it

I found Craftsman flashlights to be some of the best ever made. I like that This flashlight lasts for 17 hours if you neede it on that long. With spring and summer on the way, thunder storms occur and everyone needs a good flashlight in case electricity is lost.

I have worked on aircraft for years and one of the requirements we must meet is to use non-sparking flashlights when working on the aircraft.  This is to prevent flash fires when we are squeezed into tight corners working on various parts as most chemicals used on aircraft can be ignited (it's not just fuel that will ignite but many other fluids and even some solid compunds).  This flashlight is extremely well made, will survive a drop off a wing and still keep working.  This is because of a sturdy mechanism and the LED bulbs.  The bulbs do not have a fragile filament as do conventional flashlight bulbs.  LEDs do not focus as well as conentional bulbs but do provide a nice flood light effect.  You will find this light useful working on cars, boats, airplanes, and even looking for that lost kitchen utensil under the drawer.

Got this on sale super cheap a few years ago. Very nice, bright light and has withstood my brutal abuse of flashlights. I think its still on the same set of batteries since day 1!!!!!!

I recently purchased a Craftsman Led flashlight from my local Sears store. The flashlight is probably the best one I ever purchased. The only down fall with the flashlight is this is my 2nd one. I had to purchase the additional light because Sears does not sell the replacement bulbs for the light. Other than that I highly recomend the flashlight.

One of the Sears serviceman that came out to fix my snowblower had one. He was very impressed with how durable it is and recommeded it.

I have seen others and their battery holder can break from being dropped.

This has a better holder and it the length of time on the batteries is great.

I purchased two of these lights at a very good price.  I was slightly concerned with battery life since I'm used to D cells in my Craftsman lights.  Within the first two weeks the first light led broke at the solder point and was visibly hanging.  The other light didn't make it to two months.  I never made it through the first set of batteries on either light.  This is a great contrast to the incandescent Craftsman lights that have the led power indicators on them.  Those lights are workhorses. Unfortunately, Raovac makes a better, cheaper led light that even comes with a set of standard (non-alkali) batteries.  I don't usually write bad reviews, but even a negative review can be helpful when you want to make an informed purchase.

I picked up the 3 AAA version about two years ago. Still works fine. No issues. I have droped it on concrete on numerous occasions. Nice powerful beam too. Fits in the car glove box. Would definetly buy one again. Sears dosen't give the Kelvin rating but it's very white in color probably in the 4500K range.
