Bought this tool for my dads' birthday...
after he opened the box, he turned the bone ONCE and the retaining pin feel out in is hand.. the pin looked wore out.
On the handle it reads, (made in China).. I guess that explains it all..
I would not recommend this tool to anyone.. I and my dad are very disappointed!
Come on Craftman your going to have to do better than this!

Best thing, as with other Craftsman hand tools, is the warranty. Not sure what makes it a Limited Edition though.

After owning the Craftsman 56 piece Universal Mechanics Tool Set, I just had to have the Limited Edition Dog Bone Wrench. The universal tooth design fits 6 different typs of fasteners both in standerd and metric. All together, Its like having 96 tools in 1. I bring this tool everywhere with me.

Never thought I would like one of these. Wrong. Very well made. Very strong. Can creep under a car not knowing what you will need and it has it all. A perfect addition to any travel tool box or car tool box set up. A bit bulky on the big end but needed for larger bolts. Awesome tool.

I bought this wrench to work on my Jeep, not knowing that it is made in China. It fell apart after only a half dozen uses. I took it back and the store sales person told me that all Craftsman tools are now made in China. I miss the old Craftsman reliability and quality. They never lowered the prices even though they're made overseas, as well.

When I saw an online ad for this I thought it would be nice to have a wide range of wrenches in one tool and decided to order it. Soon after getting it I was doing some minor maintenance on a piece of equipment I own that has both metric & SAE and decided I'd give the dog bone a tryout. I was very pleased with the job it did and the magnet was nice for holding a few bolts after I got them out. I wouldn't trust it to break loose the tough ones, and I know I'll still need the ratchet, breaker bar & sockets, but it's nice to be able to grab one tool instead of packing a bunch of wrenches do do a simple job.
