I used this to overhaul my 4L60E. I had to chamfer the back corner on a grinder to get in the narrow crevices of the chevrolet transmission - but that is chevy's fault not sears. One of the best tools I have bought.

I've owned these handy little pliers for a few years and they've proven to be quite useful. One time I used them to pop the shift lever retainer out of my Mom's Toyota Pickup. They worked like a charm! My only complaint is that the spring is starting to get a little weak and they are a little loose now.

I was rebuilding my jeep's transfer case and needed some snap/retaining ring pliers. I picked these up after I purchased the Craftsman snap ring pliers. Those ones with the interchangable tips. Needless to say the interchangable ones were a hastle and did not cut it. So I went and bought these. They had absolutely no trouble removing the various rings I had to remove and install. Seriously took seconds. I highly recommend these to anyone.

I have used many sets of lock ring pliers for automotive lock ring applications. This removed a stubborn crankshaft lock ring on the first attempt with no sweat. Great item for the price.
