<span>The Craftsman Magnetic Post and Pipe Level is a quick, easy, and reliable way to make sure that your post or pipes are striaght and level. The rubber band has some nice tabs to securely hold the level in place while you are working on your project. The magnetic strips inside of the level are great and they allow you to just slap the level right on your metal posts with no need for a rubber band to hold the tool in place. I am starting to build a car port and a covered porch along the front of our house, so that we can have cook outs and a place jsut to sit back and enjoy ourselves. This is gonna be a nice little tool that is about to see a lot of work in the near future. The sturdy plastic device looks like it will have no problem standing up to the tasks at hand. </span>

I too used this on my deck posts to make sure they were straight up and down and my boards all lined up thanks to this cheap little tool and a small bungee cord!
