Magnetic Steel Bowl Secures Safety of Small Metal Objects
The Craftsman Magnetic Steel Bowl is the most "attractive" place to keep nails, bolts and other small metal objects. Screws get lost all the time, especially when you're working on projects that uses many of them. You can either waste time on your knees looking for them or use storage that keeps them from going astray. This bowl uses a strong magnet that keeps all of them safely inside while giving you convenient, fast access.
A container that stores metal objects needs to be made of stronger metal, and this is why the Magnetic Steel Bowl is made of resilient stainless steel. It stores all your metal accessories for a long time without incurring any scratches or marks. The flat bottom of the bowl allows it to be placed on work surfaces for easy reach. With this bowl, instead of replacing lost screws, you can save money by storing them where you won't lose a single one.

I used to scoff at people that used things like this because I used to feel that any type of container or bowl would work just fine to hold nuts and bolts while you worked on your project. Well, that all changed when I accidentally knocked over my container and spilled all my nuts and bolts all over the floor and some made it into the floor drain. My friend walked over with of these bowls and was holding it upside down as he gave me a hard time about my misfortune.
I now own one of these bowls and though I've had some mishaps, I haven't lost anything in awhile.
Magnet is not very strong at all. Not great will not hold a screw when tipped sideways. I reccomend buying a better product. It may be cheap, but it doesn't help. Now I bought something I am just going to replace with something better

The craftsman Magnet bowl is Simply the best item to add to any tool box or garage. I own two of these item's they come in handy under the hood for collecting fender bolts nuts whatever you can toss in there. If you've got nice flat metal surface to place it on it's not going to move as you work.

Was spending time searching the bolts rolling under the car and also missing screws in think carpet and the problem is now solved with this bowl, the magnet on this bowl is powerful enough to hold the screws & nuts for any job. I am happy with my purchase.

Looks nice and works as advertised. I have even used it when I dropped a small screw in the carpet and it attached to the bowl. I may order another one for the shop. As we work on something I keep it with us and we haven't lost anything yet. I also separate the screws in different areas of the bowl so there is no confusion when putting them back in.
This wa a great gift for my brother who works on his law peers and snowblowers he doesn't have to worry about losing nuts or screws even if the magnetic bowl gets knocked over everything stays in it.
Seems like a good solid product. Strong magnet and and steel bowl. Only complaint is that it smelled like mothballs when I opened it so I had to soak it with dish soap and wash it.
Bought it for dirty santa and it was the talk of the party...it quickly was snatched up by one, two, three people and then no more trades. I bought two and my brother in law lost his at dirty santa, and he laughed so hard and was happy when he pulled it out of the bag. He said it is the perfect thing for when he works on cars.
