DON'T DO IT!

Cheap piece of junk!!! Didn't fit my craftsman tool box. Was damaged when I opened it with cracks and rips. Save time and money and get some better drawer liners at a local department store.

Attractive tool box LINER

I love this magnetic tool box liner. I think the other reviewers are misguided in the application of this device. It is not made to hold your tools in place as you open and close the drawer. It is a liner that sticks to the drawer bottom and protects the foam liner or drawer from damage of setting heavy objects upon it. That is why Craftsman calls it a "Magnetic Tool Box LINER." The magnets are there to hold this mat in place and not walk around in the drawer or start to crawl out of it.

Why do you need this?

To protect your drawer liner from oil leaking out your stored air tools and attacking the drawers protective foam liner and making it all swollen and yucky. This magnetic liner sticks to the drawer bottom and you now have a easily cleaned tough surface to rest your air tools upon or other frequently stored tools.

Is it hard to use?

No, just lay it right upon the existing foam liner or straight on to the steel drawer bottom and it is ready to go to work 24/7.

Simply, an outstanding device.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This product is highly misunderstood

The magnets in this tool box liner are to secure the pad to the drawer. When you put your hand tools upon it they are not going to stay put as you open and close the drawer. They have better products for that. This liner works great under your heavy, oily, air tools like impact wrenches, pnuematic chisels, drills and grinders. The liner helps protect your drawers foam liner from being attacked by oil dripping from your air tool's fitting and wear from moving tools in and out. This is a great accessory to own when used as it was intended. I have had this liner in m toolbox drawer for years with this purpose and it was a great addition to my tool storage box.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Being a magnet is it's only function - and it FAILS

What else is there to say? If you expect this to hold something metal in place (it's only purpose), it simply won't. Absolutely awful!

No more tools.moving.

Every time you open or close a draw on your toolbox, all the tools move. This stops that from happening. It also protects the finish on the draws, so no more scratches on the sides or bottoms of the draws. A great addition to keep everything like new.

not very magnetized drawer liner

The size of this liner was not shown and was surprisingly small. It was not very magnetized at all. I kept it only because it was too much effort to return. It does not prevent screwdrivers from rolling around.

Terrible Waste, Non-Magnetic and Slippery!

This product is really poorly made. I bought it in the store, and hadn't seen the reviews online before I made my purchase. What a waste! This thing is not magnetic at all. As another reviewer pointed out, it won't even lay flat in the drawer when you first install it (granted, it's been rolled up for quite some time, but if it was actually magnetic, it should stick to the bottom of the drawer). This thing is so slippery that my wrenches just slid all over the place when they were laying on this mat. I took it back to Sears. Don't buy it, you won't be happy!

Not very magnetic

I tried this for my new Craftsman cabinets. I quickly returned it as it wasn't even magnetized enough to lay flat in the drawer.
