I bought this for my husband. I got it on sale, it was a great deal. It has a couple of magnets on the bottom which are coated with rubber so things won't get scratched. I also bought another for myself. I like to oil paint, and this is a nice size to mix colors and easy to clean. The stainless steel is sturdy.

These are so handy, I now have 3 of them. The only problem I've had is that a couple of the magnets came loose and had to be re-glued to the pan. If it wasn't for that, I'd give it 5 stars.

I set stuff down ALL THE TIME and waste lots of time looking for it. With this tray stuck to my table saw, I have a place to set stuff from my pockets - and stuff from around the shop I might need to use again right away... like small drill bits and fasteners, etc. - where it won't be 'lost' for 20-30 minutes as I search for it. Now all I need to do is use it.

<span>I have had my magnetic tray about three years and use it extensively. It is a very useful tool when working on automobiles. The only negative comment I have is concerning the glue used to attach the magnets to the tray. The glue breaks down and allows the magnets to pull off from the bottom of the tray. When I tried to warranty this item, I was told it was not a warranty situation. I use Craftsman tools and enjoy the lifetime warranty and expected this warranty to cover the tray as well. Bottom line "check warranty on each item before buying". </span>

This tray is a great addition to all of my Craftsman tools. It's very handy to hold any small parts and tools to keep them close at hand. It's perfect to keep them from getting lost if it may get knocked over. I would recommend to anyone doing DIY projects involving small parts.
